- “ ‘IAO NEEDLE”
Located in ‘Iao Valley
State Park just outside Wailuku. A 2,250-foot natural
rock pinnacle presides over Iao Stream. Easy trails
guide you amid exotic tropical plants and to a sheltered
lookout.

- “MOLOKINI ISLET”
An eroded, sunken volcanic
cindercone three miles off Maui's south shore. It’s
a popular snorkeling destination and marine life preserve.
Boat tours leave from Ma‘alaea, Kihei boat ramp and
Lahaina Harbors, daily

- “HALEAKALA SUMMIT”
Haleakala National Park
is a popular attraction. Its moon-like landscape is
a stark contrast to Maui’s lush valleys and sandy
beaches. This dormant volcano allows breathtaking
views of morning sunrises and the Big Island from
10,023-feet above sea level.

- “KIPAHULU DISTRICT”
Part of Haleakala’s
National Park. Trails guide you through tropical rainforest
alongside a myriad of streams, cascading into emrald
green pools. Bamboo groves, rare birds and tropical
plants fringe this tropical oasis.

- “MAKENA BIG BEACH”
Once a playground for
Hawaiian royalty. Access is by a dirt road that opens
to a long stretch of golden sand. A great swimming
spot when the surf is low and great bodysurfing when
the surf's up.

- “HISTORIC LAHAINA”
A national historic
landmark. Once a capital of Hawai‘i and a port for
a pacific whaling fleet in the 1840s. Maui’s happening
spot for dining, cocktails, shopping, cruises and
snorkeling from Lahaina Harbor and nightlife.

- “HUMPBACK WHALES“
Ma‘alaea Bay is a seasonal
breeding ground for up to 1,500 Humpback whales who
migrate from Polar waters to breed in warm Pacific
waters. Various Maui whale-watching tour companies
offer excellent observations of these giants of the
sea.
