Doug and Sandy McMaster perform the music of Hawai‘i on ki ho‘alu (slack key guitar) and ‘ukulele at 4 p.m. Fridays and 3 p.m. Sundays at Hale Halawai ‘Ohana O Hanalei (Hanalei Family Community Center), 5-5299C Kuhio Hwy. (page 64, G-2). On Saturdays, there is a Kapa‘a Slack Key Saturdays concert from 5 to 7 p.m. at Children of the Land Cultural Center in Kaua‘i Village, 4-831 Kuhio Hwy #332 in Kapa‘a (page 58, F-3). Historic Hanapepe town (page 64, M-2) hosts the Friday Night Festival & Art Walk, an open house and gallery walk.
