From comedy to magic, show bands to local bands, you’ll want to spend a few evenings enjoying yourselves. Going to a lu‘au is also a must. Generally included in this Hawaiian feast, apart from the great food, is hula dancing, singing, ancient arts and crafts, games and traditional ceremonies. So go out and find something to do!

Hawai‘i is incredibly beautiful by land, sea or air. By land, there are many guided tours that are available as well as rent-a-cars to go exploring on your own. By sea, sail to one of your favorite snorkeling areas or take a dinner cruise at sunset. By air, experience the thrill of a glider ride or helicopter tour. HAWAIIAN MUSIC CONCERTS
Doug and Sandy McMaster perform the music of Hawai‘i on slack key guitar and ‘ukulele from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Fridays and 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Sundays. Every concert has a different theme and are held at, and partly benefit, Hale Halawai ‘Ohana O Hanalei (Hanalei Family Community Center), 5–5299C Kuhio Hwy. KAUAI CHILDREN'S DISCOVERY MUSEUM
“Kids’ Kaua‘i” uses the museum's entire main floor space to create a mini-island that provides a view of Kaua‘i from a kid’s eye level. A perfect primer for newcomers, the interactive exhibit stations describe and demonstrate, in easy-to-understand language and activities, weather patterns, historic moments, places to visit, and Kaua‘i’s creatures large and small. FREE HULA HOUR
Kaua'i's own Aunt Bev entertains and teaches hula to anyone who wants to try at 12:15 p.m. at Harbor Mall near the Kaua‘i Marriott Resort. (808) 245-6255.


FRIDAY ART NIGHT
“Kaua‘i’s Biggest Little Town,” is more than a sign on the highway. Pull off Kaumuali‘i Highway and explore the little town on foot. Hanapepe comes alive during Friday Art Night when art galleries, cafes and shops are open from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with artists and crafters demonstrating their work. Enjoy a stroll through quaint, historic Hanapepe town and meet the local artists. For details, call (808) 335-0343.

SEAVIEW TERRACE
Also hosts FREE Hula Shows at 6:00 p.m., daily; presented by Leilani’s Hula Halau at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa, Poipu. Call (808) 742-1234.

WAIMEA PLANTATION TOURS
Volunteers take you back to when sugar was king on a Plantation Lifestyles Walking Tour in Waimea. Tours start at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, from the Waimea Plantation Cottages. Call (808) 335-2824 for details and also ask about the Sugar Plantation Tours.
