• 1 can (46 oz.) pineapple juice
• 1 cup lemon juice
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 pint cranberry juice
• 2 quart ginger ale
• 1 pint pineapple sherbet

Combine first four ingredients. Add ginger ale and sherbet just before serving. Float ice ring and garnish with pineapple chunks and maraschino cherries.

• 1/4 cup flour
• 1/4 cup bacon drippings or melted butter
• 1 can (14 oz.) beef broth
• 3 teaspoons or 1 bouillon beef base
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup water
• Salt and pepper to taste

Whisk flour into bacon drippings or butter over medium heat; cook until flour bubbles and begins to caramelize. Gradually pour in beef broth, stirring constantly. Add beef base or bouillon; stir to blend.

Simmer 5 minutes, then gradually add milk and water while stirring; return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 7-10 minutes or until gravy thickens. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Use over many dishes (example: Loco Moco).
